Hardware Cloth
If you are building bottom boards to use with an oil tray to capture small hive beetles, #6 (1/6″ x 1/6″ grids) hardware cloth works better than 1/8″ hardware cloth because it permits fully grown adult beetles to crawl or fall through into a tray or ground below. 1/6″ is very hard to find unless you are willing to purchase 100 ft rolls online. Jim Mason has a limited supply of 36″ wide #6 hardware cloth for $2.50 per linear foot with a minimum order of 4 feet. Call or text Jim at (270) 315-8292. Shipping is not available.
