Certified Kentucky Honey Producers
The Certified Kentucky Honey Program (CKHP) was established by the Kentucky State Beekeepers Association in an effort to promote the sale of local honey to consumers in Kentucky. We wish to promote the many beekeepers in Kentucky that raise their bees, harvest, process their honey, and sell their honey all within the State of Kentucky. All beekeepers within the State of Kentucky are eligible for certification by making formal application to KSBA and paying the appropriate annual dues. The annual dues include membership in KSBA at no extra cost. As Certified Honey Producers, beekeepers will have agreed to follow the program guidelines and to apply the certified honey label with a registered trade symbol to the bottles of honey that they sell. The labels are for sale to Certified Producers.
